How it works
We still start with the match.
A one-time lesson isn’t a random teacher with an open hour. Tell us what you want to work on and we’ll look for the person on our faculty who makes the most sense.

We find the fit.
We look at the faculty, the musical question, location or online format, and current availability.
Take the lesson.
Come prepared to work. If one lesson is enough, great. If you want to keep going, we can take it from there.
Especially useful for adults
You don’t need to “start from the beginning.”
Adults often come to us with a very particular musical life already in progress: a piano they haven’t touched in ten years, a guitar part they want to understand, a jazz standard they’re wrestling with, or simply the feeling that they should be able to get further than they are. A focused private lesson can be a very good place to begin.

Tuition depends on the teacher, lesson length, location, and format. We’ll give you the exact rate before you commit to anything.
