What age is best to start guitar lessons?

We usually recommend starting guitar around age 6 or 7, depending on hand size and attention span. For younger kids, ukulele is a great stepping stone to build coordination and rhythm in a fun, accessible way.

Do I need a guitar to start?

Yes — but it doesn’t have to be fancy. A basic acoustic or electric guitar is all you need to begin. We’re happy to help you choose one if you're just getting started.

Do adults take lessons too?

All the time. Many of our adult students are returning to the instrument after years away — or picking it up for the first time. Lessons are relaxed, encouraging, and built around your goals and pace.
