Jared Weiss - Voice, Guitar, Piano, Songwriting
Jared Weiss is a New York–based vocalist, songwriter, and music educator with a gift for helping students of all ages discover their unique voice.
A graduate of NYU with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, Jared has spent his career performing on some of the city’s most iconic stages, from Radio City to 54 Below. He has collaborated with Tony Award–nominated composer Joe Iconis and performed his original music at sold-out cabarets and concerts across the country.
As a teacher, Jared combines his classical training, musical theatre background, and singer-songwriter experience to create lessons that are as fun as they are transformative. He has worked extensively with young children—including toddlers as young as 18 months—through early childhood music programs, as well as with students at NYC’s ADAPT schools. Parents value his ability to adapt to each child, listen deeply, and make lessons feel supportive and engaging.
Jared’s teaching philosophy is simple: every student has something unique to offer. He helps kids and teens build confidence in their voices and instruments (voice, piano, or guitar) by encouraging individuality, fostering creativity, and making music feel personal. Whether your child dreams of Broadway, wants to sing like their favorite artist, or simply needs a joyful outlet, Jared ensures lessons are tailored to their goals.
Outside the classroom, Jared continues to perform, write, and create—drawing inspiration from artists like Bob Dylan, David Bowie, and Jonathan Larson. His students benefit not only from his professional expertise but also from his passion for helping young musicians embrace who they are.
