WillYouLearn is currently accepting applications from experienced, committed music educators. If you're an accomplished musician with a passion for teaching and a talent for connecting with students, we’d love to hear from you.
Founded in 2013, WillYouLearn has grown from a one-person studio into a trusted, in-demand program with a team of over a dozen exceptional, highly vetted instructors and more than 100 students enrolled weekly. Our team is made up of working musicians and experienced teachers who believe in a better, more human approach to music education.
We teach music the way people learn language—by ear first, with curiosity and intention—tailored to each student’s needs. We believe strong relationships drive progress, and that great teaching starts with understanding.

Who We're Looking For

- Personable and professional in communication
- Experienced working with children and families
- Able to balance structure and flexibility in lessons
Qualifications:
- Significant teaching experience, ideally across a range of ages
- Active performance career or ongoing musical work
- Consistent weekly availability
- Willingness to travel in NYC for in-home lessons
- Degree in music performance or education (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with children (required)
Compensation
We offer competitive pay based on experience, with clear opportunities for growth.
- Base pay starts at $45/hour
- Top instructors earn up to $80/hour
- Monthly bonuses of up to $100 per student opportunity
