Will is both a great teacher and a great musician. He plans his lessons with a systematic approach while also allowing room for student-interests to guide the process. I have a masters in music education and have been teaching music since 2004. Piano is my primary instrument and I have been playing since I was 7. I spent years looking for the right teacher for me and am very glad that I was told to contact Will. I had an amazing first lesson with Will after a 20 year hiatus from lessons. In a few minutes, he was able to diagnose my skill level, dive into the Chopin piece I'm working on, and break down my technique and how it was somewhat limiting in places. He was able to teach me new approaches that I've been practicing since our lesson ended and I believe I'm another level better than I was prior to his expert and friendly advice.
